I have a small (A5 size) jiffy bag parcel that is less than 100g and could possibly be classed as a Large Letter by Royal Mail however it is JUST over 2.5cm by a couple of milimeters.
Alternatively, if the item is not in need of protection then try a simple plastic mailing bag to decrease the depth..
